Elegant Collier Style Necklace of Galalith, sometimes referred to as French Bakelite.
 
Made by Francois Schoenlaub in his own factory, Guillemette L'Hoir - Paris (named after his companion of the time). Schoenlaub re-discovered galalith in 1976 and realized its creative potential for contemporary jewelry, producing pieces for the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.
